Funeral Service

Date: Saturday, June 20th at 10am

Important information: The service will be held outdoors rain or shine on Village Church’s lovely green space. Please wear comfortable shoes as this will be a standing service. Guests are welcome to bring their own chair for accessibility accommodations.

Important information: This is a drop-in style event following the funeral service to join family and friends in celebrating Bob’s impact to our community. A cash bar will be open for refreshments, and lunch will be available for guests.

  • Street parking along Littlejohn Lane and Scarlett Street (guests must follow local traffic laws and ordinances)

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in memory of Bob Linn to one of the following nonprofits he actively supported:

Welcoming English Language Learners (WELL), a program through iFace that provides free English classes for refugees, was very dear to Bob as he became an advocate of the local refugee community.

Bob was passionate to support all members of his community and understood the social injustices toward some of his neighbors. He volunteered and supported programs through Village Engage to help create a more welcoming community for all.

Bob regularly served the immigrant and refugee community in many ways - from donating supplies and hosting events, to giving car rides and simply being a friend. He truly welcomed all people with open arms.
